My paternal grandfather had at least four first cousins. When I was a kid, these were known as "the cousins in Massachusetts who spelled their last name wrong." I eventually found that one of them, Calvin, was living in the Cleveland area (which is a whole other story), and through him I met his siblings Barry and Annette. The fourth cousin, Stephen, passed away long before I met Calvin.
Anyway, I met Barry and his wife and daughters through Calvin, and last saw them at Calvin's funeral in 2007. Calvin's obituary does not appear to be online, but Barry's is on the
Salem News website.
