Annual Birthday Greed List 2021
My family wants to know what I want for my birthday and Hanukkah. Since I'm a grown adult who buy his own things, the list isn't much different from years past.
Food
This "Alaskan Charcuterie" kit looks kind of fun. Or maybe some entertaining "of the month" club for cheese or some other thing I like. Hot Chocolate maybe?
Reading Materials
- I do not have books 3 & 4 of the Sharing Knife by Lois MacMaster Bujold. I do not have
Gentlmen Jole & the Red Queen. I believe I'm otherwise caught up on her books, or at least until the next Penric omnibus comes out.
Art
- A print of Orpheus by Odilon Redon suitable for framing, or maybe even framed already! This is one of my personal all time favorite paintings.
Clothes
- An Oakland Athletics Jersey. Any color. Possibly even featuring the #24 of the great Rickey Henderson - After 13 years of asking, my sister got me the home green with #24!
- I read FanGraphs a lot, but probably not enough to justify me buying a membership. However, I wouldn't mind this scorecard T-shirt.
Gear
- I can imagine that I'd actually buy myself an electric weed whacker, since I actually need one as the of my maple over take the yard.
Music
These mostly fill gaps in my personal collection that I'll otherwise fill myself one day. This list has 100% overlap with the post-it note I keep in my kitchen of stuff to buy when I go into record stores, not that I've done that any time recently. Also, you have no idea how hard it was to keep the list this short. Actually, if you're one of my radio station people, you probably do have an idea. This list is alphabetical, although if I had to rank them William Bell would still be first.

- New Pornographers: Challengers, In the Morse Code of Brake Lights
- TMBG: Flood (I owned this once, not sure if my ex took it or if I atypically lost it)
