2. I made a relatively scant four new recipes in this segment, bringing the yearly total to 85. All four this time were from the September 2020 Eating Well. I list them here from least interesting to most interesting.

- We're always game for tacos, but the Crispy Fish Taco Bowls was just ok. We've got better fish taco recipes in our arsenal, so this one won't be repeated.

- The Kale & Lentil Stew with Mashed Potatoes was fine, but nothing special that needs to be repeated. However, in the process of making it I learned that M really loves mashed potatoes, which is important information that I was either not privy to or had somehow forgotten. I don't normally make mashed potatoes (really, we don't use many potatoes at all), but now I'll have to make sure they get worked into the menu.

- I personally wasn't blown away by the Chicken Hummus Bowls, but M indicated that she really enjoyed the marinade that was used on the meat and would be happy to eat it again, and certainly the we both like hummus and crudites.

- The Brown Sugar Glazed Apple Cake was delicious and comparatively easy. The cake was rich and moist and would have been good even without the glaze. I'll make it again and serve it with some vanilla ice cream.
