My 2015 Cleveland International Film Festival Schedule

Mar 12, 2015 23:48

I have a ton of overlapping conflicts with this year's Cleveland International Film Festival including three different concerts so I won't make it to as many movies as I did last year, but I still managed to buy tickets to ten different films. Despite my buying them the week beforehand I was able to get all of these as actual tickets instead on stand by, so barring disaster I'll be there for all of these. Here's my list for those who might care. I hope to see some of you there.

Friday, March 20
Spring @ 11:30pm. Described as a sci-fi romantic comedy thriller. Sure, why not.

Saturday, March 21
Angel Azul @ 4:10pm. Documentary about the works of artist Jason deCaires Taylor.
In Order of Disappearance @ 9:30pm. Stellan Skarsgård's son is murdered by drug dealers, and he goes all Punisher on them.

Sunday, March 22
Beatles @ 9:35am. Four Norwegian kids in the early 1960s form a band. Featuring a lot of music from The Beatles themselves.

Tuesday, March 24
Hardkor Disko @ 9:30pm. Bizarrely described thriller from Poland.

Friday, March 27
Frame by Frame @ 6:20pm. Afghanistan as seen via Afghan photojournalists. Sponsored by my co-host Shari's gallery The Cleveland Print Room.
Who Am I - No System is Safe @ 9:00pm. A thriller in which hacker groups face off against the government.
Alleluia @ 11:30pm. Thriller based on the real life Lonely Hearts Killers.

Saturday, March 28
An Honest Liar @ 4:20pm. A documentary about The Amazing Randi.

Sunday, March 29
Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead: The Story of the National Lampoon @ 7:10pm. As the name implies, a documentary about National Lampoon, which launched many comedic careers in the 1970s.
