Lifestyle Change Update

My continuing adventures in reducing my blood sugar by not eating junk food at work continue. For March, I was at work 21 days and ate food I didn't bring with me 2 of them. That's a 19/21 success rate. I can work with that.

Even better, the two days I missed were tied to specific events. On one of them I donated blood, so I not unreasonably ate some sugar. The other was Casimir Pulaski Day, which one of my coworkers has been using as excuse to bring in home-baked cookies for as long as he's worked with me.

Of course, it gets harder now. The last three months since I moved into the new building have been M&M free because they hadn't migrated over yet. Today I learned that the peanut M&Ms have taken up position in the new building. Thankfully, they aren't near my desk or any of my usual haunts, but then they weren't in the old building either. One more mental challenge to meet.

January - 50% - 11/22
February - 72% - 13/18
March - 90% - 19/21.

health, work
