I've racked up a ton of overtime this week, so I think that Friday I'll knock off a bit early and head to the Cleveland Museum of Art to see the current exhibition
Chinese Art in an Age of Revolution: Fu Baoshi (1904-1965).
After I hit the exhibition I'm thinking of heading to the Cinematheque to see
Amigo, a film released in 2010 by
John Sayles about the
Philippine-American War. Yes, we fought a war in the Philippines. You mean you didn't learn that in your high school history class?
Saturday I'm selling cheese from 9am to 4pm (come visit!), followed by a murder mystery supper club.
Sunday I'm going to catch
Mike Doughty at the Beachland.
If you're up for art, Cinematheque or Doughty, drop me a comment.
And somewhere in all this I want to finish reading
1Q84, which I borrowed from my coworker Maria. I'm about 250 pages in, which given my current reading speeds is amazing progress.
