Wisconsin is on the most direct route between North Dakota and the east coast, so I've driven through it more times than I can count. This occasionally involved overnight stops in cities such as Eau Claire. Having been involved in 2 of the intentional trips and most of the pass-throughs, I'd say WI is a mighty fine place. I'd also note that I have driven to WI from the Twin Cities on a Sunday for the express purpose of buying beer before.....
