Let's hear it for North Dakota
My friend ron0 sent this Wonkette post my way, mostly because of the cool t-shirt they show with the article. Although I think that's hilarious, I also really liked the New York Times article that inspired the blog post. A great quote:
"Even for a statewide political campaign, you have to get to the lutefisk feed," Mr. Jendrysik said. "Putting commercials on TV is not going to work. And there’s a feeling that you shouldn’t be doing the fund-raising, that it’s somehow corrupting. A lot of people look sort of askance at all the money that’s been spent in places like South Dakota."
I really miss my home state some times.
