I've got a small problem.
The person I was going to borrow Harry Potter 7 from next week has decided he can wait until paperback to acquire it. So if anyone thinks they'll have it wrapped up by the time they come to my housewarming party on Sunday and would like to lend it to me at that time I'd be greatly appreciative. And I promise not to start reading it AT the party :-)
Speaking of Harry Potter, at this point I'd like to reiterate my long held belief that the python Harry accidentally releases from the zoo in book 1 will appear in book 7 and will somehow save Harry. I've stated this publicly on numerous occasions, most recently at katspaw156's porch party which both theferrett and zoethe can attest to. Do I think JK Rowling would steal from the Chronicles of Prydain? Yes, yes I do.
Speaking of my housewarming party, some of you still need to RSVP. If it helps, we're going to have a gelato cake from La Gelateria and both an ice cream cake and an ice cream pie from Mitchell's, in addition to lots of other ice cream.
