That means it has been 59 days since my last concert, easily the longest dry spell in years. Jello Biafra's spoken word, although interesting, doesn't count. There just hasn't been much I wanted to see, and what little I did want to see didn't fit in the schedule. Fortunately, the schedule is picking up and it looks like the drought will end soon.
As always, Bold means I have tickets or am otherwise definitely going. Italics means I am seriously considering it. Drop a comment or an email if you see something you like.

How good is Fred Eaglesmith? I think he's so good that if you go to the show and hate it, let me know and the next time we go out I'll pick up your ticket.
How do you find local shows?
Pollstar provides a good overview. Then I checked these venues:
Beachland Ballroom & Tavern,
Grog Shop,
Peabodys,
CSU Convocation Center,
HOB,
Winchester,
Kent Stage,
Agora,
Wilberts,
Quicken Loans Arena,
Night Town. I added
Playhouse Square and the
Rock Hall, although no shows were listed for the latter at the moment. I also tried to find a site for the Cleveland Music Hall, but they apparently still don't have one.
Cain Park only has a limited schedule up.
Blossom,
TCA and
PDP still have nothing posted for the summer. On a brighter note, it looks like someone bought
the Odeon, because it has a functioning site up.
Man, I really need to do a theater calendar. I haven't been to a stage show in ages.
