Joy and pain and laughter and tears...

Today is the first day in a long time that I have felt almost healthy. I still have a few minor muscle aches, but it no longer hurts to breathe or move. I don't feel tired, and that seems like a first in forever. I'm also mostly unemployed, but that will change soon enough. For those I haven't told yet, I lost my job at the factory and can only say "good riddance." I left work early on Monday to go to the doctor's office (severe pain in my guts, couldn't sleep Sunday night, could barely walk Monday) and when I got out found a message on my voice mail that my "assignment had been ended due to attendance." I've called in sick twice and left early twice in three months. The first time I had the flu so bad that they doctor wanted to put me on an IV drip, the second I was without transportation. Every time I've left early it has been for a good reason. I haven't been slacking. Their issue with my attendance would have come up eventually because they are psychotic.
In other news! I have had a new idea for a novel, this one with a co-author. Here's hoping this one gets finished and is publishable. If it's not, I'll post it somewhere to be read and enjoyed online. I'm not quite to the point of needing a proof-reader, but volunteers will be considered early.
