I have found some quiet time. At first I wasn't too happy about it. I'm accustomed to being so busy all the time. But this has worked for me. I've dedicated entire days to writing! Now I understand how people like Stephen King and other major authors get their work done. Most of the time, they seclude themselves off from the world for a little while. This time it helped me go deep into my stories and live through my characters. I'm so very happy about this blessing in my life right now.
My goals: Half Moon Prairie, a Native American documentary FILM based on my published essay in Carolina Genesis: Beyond the Color-Line, April 2010. I hope to make it to a Sundance festival!
Script Frenzy: Wings of the Hawk: The Saga of the Sinclair Family 77/100 pages and 7 days to go. Woo hoo! I've been trying to do the NanoWriteMo and Script Frenzy since 2007. I've NEVER completed a project in one month, but I'm finally going to survive Script Frenzy 2012! I'm even thinking since I'm so motivated, I should brainstorm for NaNoWriMO 2012. This could be my most creative year.
Crash the Coast: I am going to submit the Script Frenzy WOH script to a small local film festival to test the waters.
