Yep, I believe in karma

I'm sitting in Common Grounds gloating because 1) I have the day off and 2) I have a beautiful computer but BAM I just was punished for those selfish feelings. I'm checking on my bank/financial situations and just glanced at my Capitol One online statement. Now, I have not used that card in about a month because I built up a balance and want to ( Read more... )

what'd they buy?

we've gotta compare this to my situation where Girls Gone Wild kept sending me DVDs i didn't want and charging me for them, and when Bulgarians bought several thousand dollars worth of T-shirts from Tshirts.com with Justins debit card.

anyway, i hope CapOne is nice to you. I hung out with some of them this weekend and they're all annoying UVA people. Just sing the wahoo-wah song to them and they'll hook you up. I also imagine dave matthews as their 'on-hold' music.

they were actually singing that wahoo song in a bar, and requested Dave Matthews from the band that was playing.

It would be like if I stayed home studying and/or didn't know how to pay bills and shop for my own groceries. Living the stereotype. Good times.

also note: i feel like i might've played it...

Oh no!! Well, it should be pretty easy to prove that you weren't in Cancun at the time of the charge.

That sucks! At least you caught it within a month of the charges. My understand is that banks deal with this all the time so it'll just be a lot of phone calls and paperwork but you'll be fine.

I'm sorry, sweetheart! Talk to Chris Freed. He'll straighten the whole thing out.

Grrr, that sucks. I hope they bought sex from a prostitute or something equally outrageous, just to add to the story you can tell. It's weird that they are using it now. If they had used it within a few days of you being there, it would be harder for you to disprove it.

Of course, maybe they thought you were a local. I mean, your last name is Spain and whatnot. I am sure there are not-so-bright people in Cancun.

Hope it straightens out easily!
