I've been pondering something the past few days (though the seeds have been germinating for several months). So how do I put this without sounding whiny...?
I mostly meant Naruto fandom, specifically, is dead/dying. The people who made the fandom active have/are all moving on (including me, soon) and no one new is taking their place. I do agree that the various social media out there now are monopolizing people's attention. I personally don't get it; I've never thought other people would find every detail of my day relevant or interesting, and vice versa. I'm just a naturally private and unintrusive person.
After Will of Fire I have no other plans. I may write a one-shot for a contest or something, but even that may not happen. I just depends. I'll probably still continue to do art, but that also really depends on what my life is like, as well as the fandom.
I don't follow any other fandoms, but I still read a lot of manga series. Though because I am a little older, my taste is a little more...muted? I still loyally follow the Big Ones: Naruto/Bleach/One Piece, but the others are less known: Fairy Tail, Vampire Knight, Dogs, Vagabond, and recently I've been hooked on reading Shigurui, which is a really graphic historical samurai drama.
