Can you guess?

1. Pick 10 of your favorite books or series'.
2. Post the first sentence of each book. (If one sentence seems too short, post two or three!)
3. Let everyone try to guess the titles and authors of your books.

These aren't strictly my top ten, as some of those are so obvious there's nothing to guess (When Mr. Bilbo Baggins of Bag End announced...) So I used few that wouldn't be on top of my list, but are still some of my favorites.

I will be seriously impressed with anyone who gets a certain few of these.

PS: doing this meme has made me want to reread some of these again. XD
