So, I was in a cranky mood this morning, as aside from being tired I realized a part of it was due to an "in limbo" situation. I gave my rental application for the new place to the realtor's office Thursday night...which means she got it on Friday... The application says it may take 3 days to process. Let's assume business days. So let's see...
Realtor gets application on Friday
No idea if she got it to the listing agent that day or not
Saturday and Sunday...not business days
Monday...maybe not a business day? Hard to know....
I just want to know if we have the place, or need to keep looking! Pretty pretty please? We want a place before the end of the month, and if we have to keep looking that will be a sucky rush.
If we dont'...well, we'd like to know when we can get in so that we can call the movers and such.
And as of this morning, my application fee and deposit checks had not appeared in my bank account, so I couldn't even go "well, at least they're processing it."
And work is quiet and boring today, so I have nothing to distract me.
On the upside, an employment verification call for me finally came in about an hour ago, so I now know it's being processed.
Why does this just make me more antsy?!?!
