My baby learned how to rollerskate! The video is dark, but you can see her. She is a natural. When I filmed this, she had had the skates on for a total of maybe 5 minutes. 5 minutes!! Natural, I say!

you know, typically I don't question most diagnosis too much. I'm really questioning what they determined on Keira.

Honestly, it isn't like I just don't believe what they said. They went from not knowing anything to spouting off a big huge disease-type word. The more I read about it, the more I question how they came up with her diagnosis. ( Read more... )

Home is so nice. Home is extraordinary. I have slept most of the day. My uncomfortable bed is so comfy right now.

Keira has slept most of the day too. She is still doing pretty awesome.

I'm not very talkative at the moment, so I'm going to leave it at this. We are home. We are sleeping. Life is good.

Yes! We just got the word. Still not sure what is wrong. The kidney doc is sending us to Birmingham to speak with a children's specialist there.

That is a plus. What we do know is it is some kind of infection. So more than likely this was from some virus or something. That is good to know...I think.

BUT we get to leave the hospital!
