I didn't think you were trying to preach but the whole undertone of 'if you don't believe in Jesus then you're going to hell' is not pleasant when I don't believe in Jesus. Then again, Jews don't believe in hell either ;) I get so much grief from so-called Christians who just cannot accept that there are other religions and that some people do not do Christmas or Jesus or anything like that, and I didn't like to think that I might be getting the same thing from someone I considered to be a good friend. (Funnily enough, it always seems to be the extreme Christians who are the problem, I never get that kind of thing from Muslims or Hindus or pagans etc.) I know I've known you long enough to realise that you wouldn't do anything like that but religion can do funny things to people, it can make them blind to stuff they would have seen beforehand. You know what I mean, there's a vast amount of people who can't see beyond the edge of their own beliefs and it just gives the rest a bad name :-/
I don't which bit you mean by the last frame, but the entire text of the icon is: Jewish and proud of it, oy gevalt!, I can't believe it's not trayfe and so nu?
