Oh No!
Oh my poor Gary Sinise. They have made him into a gun-toting, trigger happy, patriotic-to-dangerous-extremes pathological ex-marine Head of the Crime Scene Investigation Department in the new CSI:NY.
Oh Crap.
I awaited the first airing of this brand new series with bated breath and damped loins. And what did I get for my time and anticipation? Bullshit American eye-for-an-eye mentality stuffed down my neck. And he wanted to bump off a horse to "get his evidence".
Boo and Hiss CSI.
I am bitterly disappointed. Here was the promise of Gary Sinise at his sexiest - on TV every week, wearing a lab coat (grrrrrr *slobber*), or a gorgeous "police issue" overcoat, depicting a thorough, highly intelligent, quick thinking investigator who occasionally has to lean over (*sigh*) to look into a microscope (*oh yeah - right there baby - LOOK into that lens - just like that - ohhhhn*) and perhaps even have to wear fake prescription glasses occasionally himself (*groan* *drool*). So much potential so pathetically shot down in patriotic-sodden games (ooops - I mean flames).
However. I remain hopeful of the fact that it was but the first episode. Perhaps time will soften and expose this externally dispicable and highly disturbing character as a person - a real person with feelings, intelligence, regard for the human race and the membership he holds therein.
