I just remembered I forgot to mention a couple things in my Events world.

Since I started working full-time, my free time has been at a premium, so I've decided to really cut down on the number of events I go to. I've said it before; if I wanted to, I could have an event every week, but ouch! Don't get me wrong; I love meeting readers and signing

Deena! I am so dumb. I just realized that you are the same Deena who posted on Verla's about the event and that you are also a librarian there. Duh. Pardon my stupidity. I am SO excited that I will get to meet you after all this time!!!! I will, right??

Lol! Oh please, you are not dumb. My Verla's name is dumb, ha! It goes way back. :-P
ANYWAY -- yes! I will be there volunteering and can't wait to meet you and the other Verla authors. It's always such a fun fun event. The number of teens there who are just in love with books is fantastic! Gives me chills. :)

Hooray! Another reason to be excited to go. Of course, I am a little nervous that there will be that many readers there! Amy Holder and I were talking about it and we think we each may throw up several times during the day. But all in fun! :)

Ha! I would totally be throwing up right there with you. Ask Lisa S. how the heck she stayed so calm and professional (and did amazing). Are you going to be on a panel/in a room with another author? (Amy?)

I think I have to give 3 presentations.... Not sure which ones, yet. Which I totally won't mind, once I get over the whole wanting to die from fear feeling. And Lisa is a pro!!! I doubt she has ever felt like throwing up on people.
