Waiting for a new appointment at a different hospital, after being informed that my history of fainting means I need to be seen in a proper operating theatre, even though it will still be a local anaesthetic.
This wasn't discovered until I pointed it out to the colposcopist while he was doing "preflight checks", as I've taken to calling them. Why they didn't spot this in my notes, I don't know. (Ok, I do know - they hadn't read them, obviously)
