Memes, c/o
chocaholic7 , because I found some of the questions vaguely interesting.

You've got an 'ology

Grub-ology:

What is your salad dressing of choice?
I prefer my salads naked, thank you.  No yucky dressings for me, excpet perhaps a little salt and pepper.

What is your favourite fast food restaurant?
Local chippy's great.  As long as it's not KFC, I'll eat at most places should I need to, though it's better to avoid them.

What is your favourite sit down restaurant?
Am I paying?  I liked Gees, that was lovely for a formal occasion.  Meltz for a low-key lunch.  The Lemon Tree for a good quality meal but less romanitc than Gees!

On average, what size tip do you leave at a restaurant?
Around 10%, depending on service (esp. attitude) and quality

Name three foods you detest above all others
Tomatoes - spawn of the devil and the source of an allergy (possibly semi-psychological).  Tripe - never eaten it but the smell is enough to send me running from a room.  Aniseed, and all variants thereof.

What is your favorite dish to order in a Chinese restaurant?
Something fairly plain, I'd imagine, though I love egg fried rice and bean sprouts.  Duck, maybe.

What are your pizza toppings of choice?
Pizza Bianco, for obvious reason, with mushrooms, chicken, a little green pepper and red onion.

What do you like to put on your toast?
Butter.  Jam if I need sugar.  Nutella very very occasionally if there's some out on a table to tempt me.

What is your favourite type of gum?
I'm not fussy, since I rarely chew gum.

Tech-ology:

Number of contacts in your cell phone?
Lord knows.  too many.

Number of contacts in your e-mail address book?
Depends which email account. Adding them all together, probably around 150.

What is your wallpaper on your computer?
A stylised pinkl flower...thing, from the Microsoft options.

How many land line phones do you have in your house?
1.
How many televisions are in your house?
3, one on each of the girly bedrooms, and a larger one downstairs.

What kitchen appliance do you use the least?
Mixer - haven't made cakes in an age, and it's something I'll have to get round to soon.

What is the format of the radio station you listen to the most?
FM, though I listen to the BBC stations via my boss' computer at work.

Bi-ology:

What do you consider to be your best physical attribute?
My figure which, seen from behind at least, is an almost hour glass.

Are you right handed or left handed?
Right, though I do a fair number of things with my left too (comes of being a violinist)

Do you like your smile?
Enough people have complimented it to suggest that I ought to.

Have you ever had anything removed from your body?
Teeth, blood, oh and the occasional splinter!

Do you prefer to read when you go to the bathroom?
Prefer it to what?  My grandparents have jokebooks in their bathroom, so I do there.

Which of your five senses do you think is keenest?
Pass.  Absolutely no idea.  Sounds like a project for a weekend.

When was the last time you had a cavity?
Never.  I have good teeth!

What is the heaviest item you lift regularly?
Boats.

Have you ever been knocked unconscious?
Pass out fairly often, got knocked out by a boat in Belgium on training camp (Stupid scullers)

Misc-ology:

If it were possible, would you want to know the day you were going to die?
No,  too morbid for my liking.

If you could change your first name, what would you change it to?
I wouldn't.  Hannah's a great name.  Choosing pretty names is what you do for your children.

How do you express your artistic side?
Poetry, singing, dancing.

What colour do you think you look best in?
Green, according to my gay best friend, though I wear a lot of black, esp. in winter.

How long do you think you could last in a medium security prison?
Couple of hours.

Have you ever swallowed a non-food item by mistake?
2p piece, whilst downing a pint.  Long story.

Can other people read your handwriting?
As far as I know.

If we weren't bound by society's conventions, do you have a relative you would make a pass at?
No, but my great aunt Iris, God rest her soul, would have loved to see me and a 2nd or 3rd (not sure) cousin, Steven, together.

How often do you go to church?
Not as often as I ought.

Have you ever saved someone's life?
No, but I did help an old lady who'd fallen and got her to hospital.

Has someone ever saved yours?
Yes.

Dare-ology: (Before I start I should point out that I've rarely ever taken part in adare, and even then they have been tame)

Would you walk naked for a half mile down a public street for $100,000?
Depends on the weather.  And your definition of a public street.

Would you kiss a member of the same sex for $100?
Probably not, I don't like the conotations, but then again, it depends on your defintion of 'kiss'.

Would you have sex with a member of the same sex for $10,000?
No.  Definately don't like the wayyou're going with that one.

Would you allow one of your little fingers to be cut off for $200,000?
Ow! No!

Would you never blog again for $50,000?
Sure.  That's what paper diaries are for.

Would you pose naked in a magazine for $250,000?
No-one would pay me to do that.

Would you drink an entire bottle of hot sauce for $1000?
No, I don't eat hot sauce normally, why would I drink it?

Would you, without fear of punishment, take a human life for $1,000,000?
Euthanisia, yes.  Otherwise, no.

Would you shave your head and get your entire body waxed for $5,000?
body waxing, yes, probably not the head shaving.  Maybe for charity.

Would you give up watching television for a year for $25,000?
sure thing.

1) Where did you go to school?
THEN: Penyrheol comprehensive, now burnt to the ground.
NOW: Salsa classes are about all my scholing currently.

THEN: Swansea.
NOW: Oxford.

4) How was your hair style?

NOW: Just above shoulder length, layered, a bit flicky.  No fringe.

5) Did you wear contacts?
THEN: No.
NOW: No.

6) Did you wear glasses?
THEN: Yes
NOW: Yes, though my diligent wearing of them then has made me less dependant on them now.

7) Who were your best friends?
THEN: I'm not sure I had them, but I walked to school with Kelly and Rhian.
NOW: Spoilt for choice, but among them are my little sister and Patrick, the GBF.

8) Which of your pets were still alive?

THEN: Oh good Lord, no idea.
NOW: Jack Johnson, Las Lonely Boys, lots of things - my musical horizons are failry broad.

13) Had you smoked a cigarette?
THEN: No.

THEN: No.
NOW: Yes, oh gosh yes.

NOW: A publisher, an author, Development Director at a university, GB men's squad cox, a princess.  Any or all of the previous.

16) Looking back, are you where you wanted to be in 2006?
In many ways, yes.  It's odd to 'hear' myself saying this, given my usual moans about my life, but the comparison helps.  I'm a grown young woman, I have a sport that I love taking in part in (even if, like racing driving, some people might debate it).  I've been to the university I wanted to, and gained a degree.  I have a busy social life (at least recently) and the friends that come with it, two lovely housemates, a job, my health... I'm doing ok.
