I believe Mr Edmondson has jinxed me by talking about the rain.
If the weather near you is anything like here, it's been raining for over 2 hours. Quite a lot of rain. And I was in a boat, lying in a puddle of water that only got bigger as the outing went on (and sloshed back and forth with the movement of the boat) for 2 hours.
I'm soaked through to the skin THROUGH my waterproofs. Wetter than I ever get in heavy-duty stuff in the winter. My hands are wrinkled, and I got pins and needles when I got into a warm shower because they were so cold.
You'll see why the title applies now.
Oh and, to add the joy, the boys were as lippy as ever.
