"Is'nae that the prettiest sight you've ever seen, Doctor?" shouted Scotty over the sound of wind and surf.
"That it is, Mr. Scott," McCoy shouted back. Surrounded by frigid, gray water and churning black skies, still he could appreciate the beauty of what lay before him. Two magnificent, impossible creatures, gone from the earth for over a century, once more rode the waves.
Twin geysers spewed upward from the mammoth pair as if in salute to the crew that had seen them safely home. McCoy found himself raising his hand to them in farewell and thought, Live long and prosper.
