"Spock, NO!" McCoy took an involuntary step toward the combatants, momentarily forgetting the hulking Vulcan enforcer wielding the battle axe.
"Kroyka!" commanded T'Pau and the tableau in the arena froze.
Dammit to hell! He's going to kill Jim!
And that, in turn, would shatter the human half of Spock's soul the moment he regained his sanity.
I have to stop this! If not, he would lose both of his friends at the same instant.
McCoy had only a few seconds to devise a solution. Determined, he reached for the weapons at his disposal; his hypospray and old fashioned human deceit.
