I just wanted to throw in a quick update for all my fans. This was a tough week for me, fighting off this horrid cough and cold I had all week but still trying to go to work outside. It was cold all week which made it tough, but I think I am starting to kick the bug. Also fought off some depression I felt sneaking up on me. Couple of beers during the week and some reading helped get me by.
Nothing exciting this weekend, just some bars and random errands I need to run. Oh, and dinner with Jenny and her husband tonight. It should be good to see her once again. I will be seeing Julie this week on Wednesday which is always a good time and I'm hoping Mary and Jen call me as well, though I never hold my breath. Seems like all my old friends have kids (which if you didn't know, means I don't get a lot of opportunities to hang out with them).
Tuesday will be a glorious day at the Larkin house. I have no cable, but I did recently steal my father's portable DVD player and as soon as Venture Bros Season 2 hits the shelf, I will be all set for the evening. I cannot wait. This is truly one of the happier things I've had going for me in a while.
Let's see... then next weekend I should be going to game night down south hosted by the Weeder's. Hope everyone shows up, I love all you people down there. So hopefully Dan shows up, Tim, Court the usual suspects. Maybe we can talk Kriss into coming from Lansing.
That will lead into my final week at the parks dept in Lapeer as I will be starting a new job when I get back from Cali. I head out to Los Angeles on the 28th so I won't be able to go camping, which I hate btw. But nice warm weather, sandy beaches and other things to get my mind out of the dumps awaits me there. So I hope it helps get me out of this rut.
I return on the 4th and have a wedding to attend the 5th. I had also planned to attend CMU graduation but I don't believe that is happening. Then that Monday the 7th I start the new job in Battle Creek at Sunshine Toyota. If you are looking to get into a new car, let me know. But I would request you wait for me to finish training so I make money off your ass. Anyway, I'm excited about it. I'm looking forward to having something new to learn and a place to go on a regular schedule. I'm in need of some more structure before I curl into a ball and give up.
That's all my plans so far. I hope to get people together to go to my cabin The Lark Inn sometime that month or into June, but I know Court starts her internship, Heather will probably have a new job, and everyone gets busy (weddings, family reunions, fairs, kid's soccer games...). I understand how it is, but I will try hard to get it to work.

The Monarch: "I met her on the LiveJournal, which I kept in prison. I have been blogging! After posting an especially attractive picture of my prison sculpted abs, she commented that I was not only "Pwn", I was "Teh Sex"... whatever that means."
