I've been searching my sole lately, and I've come to a harsh realization. I don't enjoy programming. Which really sucks, considering the fact that I've spent the last several years (not to mention the years in college) becoming a programmer. But I just don't feel ... fulfilled.
Anyway, so I started trying to figure out what I want to do instead. Since it's April, the First thing that comes to mind is a pastor. I had considered becoming a pastor when I was younger, but I don't think Julie would let me. Her father was one for a while, and I don't think it was good for the family. Plus I'm not always the best at public speaking, so that wouldn't work out so well.
Then it occurred to me.
Voice Acting! I've always been a parrot. I really enjoy doing my little impressions of Austin or Gollum or whomever. Granted, I will need some training. I think I may go to this
workshop, but it's really near the birth so I'll have to see if I can find a different one.
So that's what I'm going to do ... a lot of work to be done, but with any luck maybe I can land a bit part in Shrek 6 or something.
