Piano has finally been moved into the flat, after much persistance from me, and excellent organisation skills from my mum. Having fun with it that's for sure, now I just need to find out where I can get the cable from to connect it to the PC. That's going to be awesome ^_^
Ordered a ton of computer parts to arrive on Tuesday. I'm concerned about them failing the delivery again though. Ever since the postal service decided to change my post code, I keep ending up with other peoples mail, and my stuff never arrives. Exceptionally frustrating, especially since my stuff is very expensive. I just hope it arrives as it's suppose to this time around. Unfortunately I wasn't able to order the computer chassis I wanted, or the rounded black IDE Cables, since the chassis won't be re-stocked in time for Tuesday delivery. The earliest I could get was Wednesday, and I will be doing my volunteer work then, and then I'm busy on Thursday and Friday with various appointments. Saturday onwards for the next week I will be staying at the Caravan at California Cliffs with most of the family. Wanted to complete the computer before I went, but it looks like it's going to have to wait.
Been getting back into Gunbound with a bunch of friends. Apparently the US can't access the original one anymore (I suspect Europe still can, since I was able to login just fine and found my rank the same and all my avatar gear still there ^_^), so I signed up for a new account on this other one called Gunbound Revolution from ijji. The only difference between the two that I can tell is that ijji servers arn't as reliable, and you have to use IE to launch the game from their website (What a pain). Lots of fun though, and the more friends the better. We had 3v3 full of friends all talking on the Ventrilo server as we played, that was awesome ^_^
Oh and I finally located a source and downloaded Princess Nine. It's about a female baseball team that was put together, and they compete against all these other teams. I was seriously disappointed though, since it's not actually that much about Baseball at all, but more about girls having equal rights to boys, and various social issues. I only have 6 episodes left and throughout the whole thing they have only played 2 actual games, and they weren't played like real games either (EG: Using sexy poses and actions to put the boys off and dumb things like that). Yet the point of it was suppose to play through the league and beat all these teams in order to play and win at this particular stadium which takes 3 years. How they're suppose to do all that in just 6 episodes when they have'nt even played their first "official" game I have no idea (1st one was a practice match to be recognised by the University and be allowed to come together, 2nd one was a harder practice match so that the official Baseball association recognises them as a official Baseball Team and allow them to play in the league).
Seriously disappointed by it. I want to see a good Baseball anime that follows the traditional route that most sport animes take (Start off as newbs, learn new skills, beat harder and harder opponents whilst learning even better and new techniques + training techniques, and work their way up the ladder until they finally reach their goal). At least that way it would not only be better to watch and more fun, but you'd actually learn about Baseball too (The amount of Baseball shown on UK TV, is absolutly zero. I don't even know if we have an official team or not, and if any games are shown you would need to pay for Cable or Sky TV to get it, and even then pay extra for the sport channels to see it. I know the basics of the game, but that's about it. It would be nice to know of the various different throws, or why anyone would even use... "bunt" is it? Where they just tap the ball and run. I don't understand why anyone would do that, and what use it has. I've never even seen a real Baseball game played by anyone (I only know about it from old computer games and movies).
Actually the same goes for Ice Hockey. Although I think we get more of that here, you would still have to pay for Cable or Sky, and pay extra for the sports channels. I haven't seen an actual game of this either, and I know nothing of the rules. Actually I know even less of this than Baseball. I again have only seen a game of this played on either old computer games, or in a movie. Same for Basketball, but that's probably more because I don't have as much interest in the sport as the previous two. I think I saw part of a real game of Basketball once at Grandads house when I was who knows how young, but I think I got bored out of my mind for some reason. It's a vague and old memory though so I might appreciate it more if I tried watching it now.
Kinda feel like we're missing out really. We seem to mostly only ever get Tennis, Football, Rugby, Racing of various kinds (Rally Cars, Motorbikes, Dirt Bikes, Racing Cars, etc etc), Golf, and stuff like that. Maybe it's just me (Since I don't watch that much TV to begin with, but then again when you have to pay a monthly / yearly fee (TV License) just to own anything that's remotely capable of receiving TV Signals, and with that you only get 4 channels (5 in certain parts of the UK), which show outdated movies or tv series (by about 2 maybe 3 years after it's release on VHS / DVD), and most of what they do show is of bad taste and boring as hell, it's no wonder I don't watch much TV to begin with).
Oh well. I feel like we lack so much that comes as standard for the rest of the world that we're actually really ignorant as a country.
Oh I almost forgot. I went to.... some... random Hall recently for the weekend with my friend. That was kinda fun. We played a lot of pool, and drove some Go-Karts, and stuff like that. Had random activities and games, and had a whole bunch of ppl who were staying up there with us (about 60 or so), to talk to and laugh at... I mean with. =P
And now for some more Gunbound. Nyaaa~
