Very quick post as I have my University interview tomorrow so need to get some sleep.
We're through!!!! 1-0 doesn't sound all that impressive. We could and should have scored more. Still the main thing is that we got through. Bless Beckham for puking up after he scored that goal *rubs his back better*
Portugal versus Holland. What a complete shambles!! Can't really blame the players although some of their behaviour was disgusting. But the referee only made the situation worse and when players are fuming, they do silly tackles and start silly fights. The Ref had no control at all. Still good news for England as both the Portugal players that were sent off can't play in the next match and the 5 or 6 that got yellow cards will hopefully want to be careful against England because, if they get another one, they won't play in the semi-final. Not that they'll be in the semi-final as England are gonna beat them! Yay!
