The Most Amazing Gift
This is something so unique that I really gotta share it.
I've a colleague who is middle-aged, and currently has a man who is wooing her. She is the well-dressed and eloquent, efficient office woman sort. So it comes as no surprise that this man is rather well-off too.
I thought it was sweet and relatively normal when he bought her rollerblades, knee guards and arm shields to go blading with him. He even enrolled her for classes on his own accord. Thus spending 700+ bucks on that alone. This is nothing to him - he drives a Maserati.
Then he gave her something so out of this world, you would never guess in a million years. I can give you 5000 tries, you would never get it. I'm sure she's the first woman in the world to have gotten this as a gift.
He called her one morning, saying he's got a gift for her. When she opened the door, TA DAH! Guess what, it is a freaking toilet seat!!! And to top it off, he fixed it for her! Imagine this, him driving a Maserati to Geylang to purchase the toilet seat, squatting in her bathroom to fix it on for her. And you thought that was it? No, the toilet seat actually matches the colours in the bathroom!
Imagine him getting out of the Maserati holding on to a toilet seat, and coming up from the lift with weird stares from passers-by.
I had to emphasize how stunning this is to her 10 times, before she actually agreed that it is actually quite sweet.
Seriously, women are so hard to please!
