This just keeps getting better and better...
As if a water main break last Tuesday wasn't enough, we also have school cancelled today because of flooding. Although I did go back to bed this morning, I am still in my pajamas, still have hair standing straight up, it's great. My only annoyance of the morning was someone from church calling me at 9:00 this morning to tell me that there wouldn't be a staff meeting this afternoon. As if!!! As if you would be able to get my ass down to that school today! You cancel school, you lose out! She also called to tell me that our mass rehearsal for the Spring Music Concert which is Wednesday night is going to be postponed until Wednesday at 2:15. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. Yeah, that thing's going to be great. So now I have soloists that don't know what they are doing, choirs that won't ever have a frickin' clue what they are doing, and 39 4th grade recorder players that won't be able to know what they are doing until Wednesday afternoon. Who'll be the one that looks like a jackass though? That would be me. I think I am going to go sit on my arse and watch TV for a while and think about it.
