yeah - so today - my daughter calls me up crying her eyes out... Grandma found a kitten on my porch - all black - nose to toes. And she cries begging to keep it - although we have 2 ferrets, 2 birds, and a rat. I say no. I'm allergic. Immediately she cries it's not fair - Allison (her cousin) called her dad - and he said sure - much to my aunt's surprise - and my nephew called his mother- and my sister, much to everyone's surprise - said yes - so yeah. At least it's staying in the family. Emily (my sister) has named her Hermione. And we have another cat-lover in the fam - I am the only one without. I don't know how much longer this will last. But I have too many animals. Maybe after the rat and the ferrets die we'll go there. We shall see. I love cats. And I will deal with the allergies as they come. In the meantime - at least Katie can visit Hermione often, as I'm at my sister's all the time anyway. :)
