moving... YAY!!!!
Well - the owner of earlier referenced house called me this morning and said he would be there all day if I wanted to come by, so mom and Katie and I piled into the car around noon and headed over there. The flat was exactly as I had hoped... big rooms, big nice kitchen... nice hardwood floors... it's EXACTLY what I had in mind... So I cut the guy a check for this month's rent prorated from this coming Sunday, and a partial deposit (he's letting me split the deposit between this month and next month, which is awesome) and it's mine - all mine!!! I signed the lease, have a key already so I can go in and clean and paint the walls whatever colors I want - he said as long as I don't get any paint on the very nice wood trim, which won't be a problem for me at all... so now I have to pick out paint colors - woot!!! And pack up my 80 tons of crap and start moving shit over there. (ugh)
