(no subject)
Look, I know some of you do not like the fact that I joined the military, but I am very happy that I have. You guys arent the only ones who are against it, practically my whole family doesn't want me to go. But is something I want to do and, for myself, have to do. I am a little disappointed that nobody has sent me any information on how to reach you whilst I am away but if you don't want me to write then that is fine with me. But I would rather go in knowing that you all are still here and just a letter away. But this will not discourage me to stay.
I realize what I am leaving behind but I also realize what is ahead. For everyone here know that I will not forget you and I will see you all again.
As of now I have 8 days to spend time with you. 8 more days and I am to become a soldier for the United States Army.
