Eat the rich

That "privilege" meme that was going around recently seemed to make you feel either guilty, or pissed off. Want some more of that? Pop in your U.S. zip code on zipskinny.com and you can see a bunch of U.S. Census data about the people who live around you, organized in easy-to-read format.

In my zip code here in San Diego: 23% of us have never been married, 58% of us are white (26% of us are Asian), we're about 34 years old, and we earn an average of $77,000 per year. (I also learned that I live almost smack dab on the "geographical center" of my zip, however the hell they decide that.)

Of course, over in Rancho Santa Fe, where all the Richie Riches and the Randy "Duke" Cunninghams live (or, ha ha, USED TO LIVE, you arrogant fuck), 73% are happily married (or at least not divorced yet), a whopping 89% of them are white, and their average income? $196,000/year. (12th wealthiest zip code in the U.S.)

Then there's just weird stuff, like this, a zip code in Kansas City, where the average age is... TWELVE.
