While I support a number of good causes, including a local cat rescue charity, and I fully support the Milton Keynes branch of the RSPCA among others (good friends work with them, and I respect what they do greatly) - I thought I'd share this for those in the USA who can and want to donate. This story made my blood boil. If you have cats, you look after them. If you have dogs, rabbits - ANY animal - you take on a responsibility for them, and that does not mean throwing them out when they get sick. I know that I would put my kitties' comfort before my own each and every time. And if I ever met someone who threw their pets out when they got sick, it would not be pretty.
