As regards fic...I'm currently 15 pages and 6000 words into a Kingdom Hearts oneshot. *headdesk* Oh, brain, why must you hate me so? I mean, I personally think that it's turning out to be some of the best writing I've done lately, certainly the most solid piece of any length, and I'm having all kinds of fun writing it, but...it's gen, so no one will read it, and the established-relationship slash pairing that decided to show up is hideously unpopular, so no one will read it, and it's a one-shot, so no one will read it, and it's not like I even like this fandom! (Present company excepted, of course.)
But. I've been reading too many comics or something, because I thought, "What KH fandom needs is more old-school crack, where people go to parallel universes and meet their evil doubles and things like that, because those are fun except when they're being used to add more bodies to the heap *coughCountdowncoughSearchForRayPalmercough*, and it's not like that isn't totally what KH is all about anyway." So I started writing it. And, because it's me, everyone does a lot of talking to each other, because I find that fun and interesting. And those 6000 words? I outlined this beforehand, and they're the first four sections. Out of nine.
I am my own worst enemy. But! It's fun to write and I think it'll be fun to read, a nice old-fashioned romp (okay, except with angst, because...that's how it happened) with Sora, Riku, two Kairis, and Organization XIII I-VI. And those are just the good guys.
