ginormopuppy is practically mine wheee!!! the cvacf called our house yesterday around noon and had my dad gotten our butts there asap he'd be home with me right now... unfortunately my dad and i didn't get there til 15 minutes after they'd already closed. in the words of the cvacf staff person who called us, "he passed (the safety test) with flying colors...he got an A." go doggy! he's already neutered and on hold til tuesday afternoon when my dad and i will come pick him up. i already went sorta crazy buying doggy stuff. well, i exercised ample self-control and only got the necessities--leash, stainless steal doggie dishes, large breed dog food, grooming rake thingamabobber, dog wipes, dog chew toy rope floss thingy (to promote healthy teeth cuz i'm scared of greenies killing my dog) and dog biscuits. i still haven't gone to petsmart or petco yet to look at stuff like a crate, a harness, liver treats in a bucket (the kind irene recommends for training purposes), oh and to check up on training classes.
i can't believe nee brought up our upcoming birthdays so excitedly, what a dork! in light of certain people's comments around christmas that i'm apparently a very hard person to shop for, here's a variety of items (both in terms of price ranges, necessity factor, practical values, and desirability factor) on my wish list:
