Oh shit, I got tagged twice, once in DA and once in LJ. Um, I guess I better do this meme.
In the 8 facts about yourself meme, you share 8 things that your readers don't know about you. Then at the end you tag 8 other bloggers to keep the fun going.
* Each blogger must post these rules first.
* Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
* Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
* At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names. Tagged by

Nowera 1. I managed to travel by myself through the Peneloponnis for about a week when I worked as an archaeologist in Central Greece. Yes, I did go to Sparta, and it was a dump. Mistra was more impressive.
2. The first time I tried to bake using the metric system, I failed miserably. It was a black forest cherry cake and the time was 8th or 9th grade. I've never tried to make the cake again though I still remember how yummy-looking was the picture in the cookbook.
3. Ironically, my mother-in-law turns out to make one of the best black forest cherry cake in Bali so now I can have that cake whenever I want.
4. I've been inside of churches/cathedral, temples, and mosques, but I'm not religious in anyway.
5. I didn't know how to cook until I went to grad school. MIT has the most horrible cafeteria food/fast food so I was forced to learn.
6. I always wanted to excavate Mitrou, a Bronze Age site in Central Greece, because I was a BA nut, but the site I worked on ironically had zero BA settlement. I also wanted to work in Petra.
7. My whole family loves tennis and seafood, except me. I swear I'm adopted. XD
8. I was the most improved runner on my high school cross country team. I managed to cut down my time by around 5 minutes in the two years that I ran with the team.
I'm not tagging anyone, but if anyone on my flist is interested, go right ahead.
We caught the Japanese Grand Prix on TV yesterday afternoon. Stoner clinched his World Championship Title. It's crazy that this is only his second year in MotoGP and he's only 21. I didn't know that Stoner was with Honda for 2006 but then he switched over to Ducati.
Poor Pedrosa had a nasty spill during the race. All the local papers here show shots of him flying off his bike but barely anything mentions about his condition. BBC had nothing about him or his condition either. I hope he's ok, but Wid said he might have broken his leg. Noooooooooo!
Yamaha team sucks. Well, they did better earlier in the year, but it seemed like they still have tons of problems. Rossi was doing well during yesterday's race, but then after he switched bike, he couldn't get back in the lead anymore. The second bike was total crap. Even
Rossi said Yamaha needs to improve.
And what's up with Michelin? Seems like most people winning races are using Bridgestone. Pedrosa extended his contract with Repsol Honda and he stipulated that he use Bridgestone instead of Michelin. Rossi also complained about Michelin tires. *note - I don't know anything about tires, but it seems weird that a lot of people are abandoning this brand of tires.
This year no one in the family is going to Philip Island because all the tickets are gone. Figures. Plus, even if there were tickets available, it wouldn't have been fun going there considering Stoner already won the championship.
