He was, indeed, in his room, perched on the edge of his bed and poking around on the device. He was going to learn how to do this. There were features on this thing that he hadn't managed to figure much out and Castiel was determined to at least have a good working knowledge of it.

... It would help if it weren't actually technology. Archaic spells, dead languages, anything but technology and he'd know it by now.

He looked up when the door opened, tensed and ready to lash out if this was a threat, and raised his brows at Dean. The device was tossed aside as he relaxed. "Yes, Dean?"

Dean see him toss the communicator. "Need some help with that?" he asked, amused. He remembers all the fun you had with phones, Cas, and he found it funny then. If the situation weren't so important, he'd find it funnier now.

He goes and sits on Cas' bed next to him, and grabs the discarded communicator. And sighed. "It'll have to wait for now." he flicked it on, and skimmed through databases until he found what he wanted, a picture of Izaya appeared onscreen.

"This is the douche I told you about. Izaya. He prefers text methods, so I'm showing you who to look out for. Especially as he's been asking about you again." He paused. "I'm just hoping I'm over-reacting..."

"I'll figure it out." He wasn't asking for help now, not after that Dean showed that much amusement over it. It was when Dean sighed, though, that Castiel realized this wasn't just a visit.

He craned his neck to see the picture, then plucked the device from Dean's hand. He was silent for a moment, simply looking at the picture, and then looked up at Dean.

"Asking about me?" That wasn't suspicious in the least.

"Asking about you." Well, Angels in general... but hell. He figured he'd keep Cas's guard up more in this way.

"When I arrived here, I suspected Gabe of trickery. Can you blame me? In a whole new reality... Because he's never pulled that crap before." Yes, that last bit was sarcastic.

"Anyway, I called for you. And Izaya was about. And it got a little out of hand... He has a habit of finding out too much. I don't know how he does it, but he does."

"Ah." Gabriel had occurred to him when he'd shown up, but Castiel had discarded the thought fairly quickly. He had been, after all, traveling through time and space at the time. All things considered, he'd been lucky to land alive and it would have been miraculous had he landed where he intended.

"What does he know?"

Because, really, Dean. Telling him that Izaya found out too much doesn't give him much information. There were reasons that Castiel had kept his nature and ability quiet thus far; he was fairly certain Dean had been doing the same. To find out that someone Dean didn't trust had any information was worrying.

After thinking back.

"uhh.. Angels have vessels, and there's an angel here now. But, believe me... Where he's concerned? Too. Much."

There's a pause. Something's been bothering him for 2 months now. "Also, He said something to me which... concerned me. 'An angel in a monster suit.' End quote."

Castiel set the device aside -- not tossing it this time. With his luck, it would turn on by itself or something and this conversation would be broadcast to the general populace. That was the last thing they needed.

"Angel in a monster suit," he repeated, brow furrowing. "There is nothing familiar about that phrase." He had the fleeting thought that Izaya could be applying it to himself, but there was nothing to substantiate that.

Even so, this was something to look into and, despite Dean's warning -- or perhaps because of it -- Castiel was suddenly curious to meet this Izaya for himself.

"Awesome." He relaxed slightly. "If you ever meet him, he's got worse personal space issues than you."

A thought.

"And I'll give you the heads up now..." Because you don't really like to be touched that much. "He's very touchy-feely."

"I'll keep my distance, then." That was the last thing he needed, was some person Dean warning him about draped over him. That would be... fun.

"What else?"

"He rivals Gabriel on the practical jokes. They lack the archangel fantasticalness... but If Gabe was limited to human means? This guy could run with him, and keep up."

Castiel couldn't help it; he winced at the mention of Gabriel's practical jokes. He'd only been subjected to the one, but that was one too many.

"That sounds..." He trailed off. Sarcasm was the only response to this. "... Wonderful."

Oh, hey sarcasm! He remembers when that was an annoying thing from you. Now, it's welcome.

"I think I've pretty much covered your bases... So, did you rest up?" He looks at the angel, a little concerned.

And with that sarcasm, have a healthy dose of irritation. Once upon a time, he hadn't understood what the phrase "mother hen" meant. Now he had one, in the flesh, in Dean Winchester.

"Yes, Dean. I've rested." In fact, he was finally back up to pre-time travel par. It wasn't what he'd been before rebelling, but it was the most he could hope for.

Shut up, the man watched you get exploded over his surrogate father by his brother (or an archangel in his brother's meatsuit. We merely call that a technicality). That's gotta earn him some rights to worry over you.

"Awesome." He shifted himself onto the bed, and stretched out, making himself comfortable in your room and on your bed. He knows you don't use it for sleeping... and he would do the same even if it did.

Castiel didn't say anything about Dean taking over the bed; he never used it anyway. (Well, aside from after collapsing, that is.) He just picked the device back up and carefully starting pushing buttons.

... There had to be an instruction manual that came with this.

Dean's just going to chuckle. "Do you miss the voice that tells you you're out of minutes yet?"

Yes, your fail with technological gadgets will forever amuse him. Sorry.
