Dear Reader,
After quite a hiatus, I have decided to resume posting here. My reviews are going to be sporadic because I'm now a busy parent and I don't get as much reading time as I'd like. I just started reading a digital copy of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere. As in, I started on the first few pages today. I found it interesting to read about how this book began as a television program. Usually that sort of thing happens after the book is written and they screw everything up.
I think that when I finish reading Neverwhere, I will have to look up the program and watch it. (I don't watch television anymore because it's just not interesting to me. Also, I confess I find myself busy with other distractions like trying to build a writing career and parenting.)
Those of you who are curious, I am still located in Western New York in the US. My husband and I are still quite happily married. We just celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary. We have two boys. One is 11 going on 25 (ah puberty and the attitude that comes with it, may it be we all survive with our sanity intact). The other is 9 and trying desperately to be just like his big brother. I am a stay at home mom now. Partly because of the kids and partly because I am now disabled.
I have self-published a few books of my own. I'll post links if anyone actually is interested at some point in the future.
