I'm 28 today!
So far it's been an awesome day.
My sister Emily texted me Happy Birthday around 8:30 am.
I was on my way to a meeting, so I promptly texted back.
Three minutes later, she called me and I answered the phone to Johanna singing Happy Birthday.
Best start to a day EVER.
Mom and Tim just went to a Yoga thing, so I saw them for all of two minutes since it took me a while to get over here. I opened one thing from mom (the rest will wait for tomorrow) and it's shoes! Brown plaid shoes. She thinks they're ugly. I think they're awesome.
Not, however, as awesome as the yellow fucking galoshes that wickedchicken got me! I've been wanting yellow galoshes for years. They totally rock.
Also, right now I'm reading the book by Mark Oliver Everett (AKA "E")from EELS... HOLY SHIT IT'S AMAZING. crumbly HAVE YOU READ IT?! E is a genius. E is my hero. I adore E.
In other news, Daniel Kinno is back in town and hung out with my sister again. I'm so tickled by that. I haven't even seen his act yet. Mostly because after being at work in the box office all day, I want to be anywhere but Pheasant Run. So even though I could stay after work and see any comic I pretty much wanted to, I go home instead. I don't think I would stay after work for anyone. Except maybe Craig Ferguson. I highly doubt he'll be returning to Zanies any time though.
I'm going to go putz on DeviantArt, because I hardly ever turn on my computer at home and they block it at work because apparently it's pornographic. That amuses me.
