At the bus stop
Waiting for the school bus this morning...
I show my Lego Snape key ring to the second grader who is reading Order of the Phoenix. (Although according to his elder sister, he is not really reading it, more carrying it around.)
The second grader bats at Lego Snape with his palm and goes, "Whap, whap, whap."
I say out loud, "Hey, Snape doesn't like to be spanked!"
I say to myself, "Not in any way that I'm going to mention to you anyway..."
I'm very proud that I maintained a completely straight face throughout.
