it's all coming together
I'm feeling better and better. Being in my room pleases me to no end, but it's still not so put together that moving will make it miserable. I have candles all around my bed, my dresser is a few books and some thumbtacks away from looking like an adult's dresser and not a little kid's, most of my stuffed animals are in baskets on my wall, which actually looks neat and organized, and I'm one box away from having my room totally uncluttered. Yay! I no longer feel embarassed to have people in my room, because it looks more like I'm 23 and not 16.
I guess that means I should hide away the comics I got on free comics day (yesterday). ::giggle::
I'm going to How Weird, which is this Burner fest thing in the city in SoMa, so I need to shower, dress, and head out there, probably leave around 2 or so...
I spent last night in with Joy, this really cute girl I met at BAGG. We talked a lot about what we were looking for and where we're at, and I'm really excited to keep hanging out with her and dating her. She's sweet, snuggly, has similar tastes and.... likes service submissives. :D I've missed doing a more consistant service thing, so that's really thrilling for me. Additionally, Joy's just great to hang out with- we watched Legend (which I hadn't seen), and Party Monster (which I had... the costumes wow me). She ordered Indian food, and we snuggled and watched movies and chilled out. It was really nice. We slept spooning together, and I had breakfast with her and her husband in the morning, which was cool too. I'm looking forward to our next date!
I want to take things slowly, though. I get nervous that it's going to all go to hell and get messed up if I'm too into her. Finding the balace of being attracted but not all over her is going to be important.
And god, tonight I need to get homework done! At least now it's less distracting in my room. :)
