friday
ugh
10am
cannot come soon enough

i'm not going to ask any questions to the mysterious unknown concerning my habits of procrastination,
i'm pretty sure it's just who I am

i had a dream that I took a short vacation to the early 90s last night. like, i took a plane there. and I had all sorts of logical thoughts like, I can't use my credit card because I might have a massive amount of debt waiting for me when I get back so I made sure to bring cash, or I can't text Leah because that would bring an awkward dynamic into our relationship... and everything was really over the top 90s and it just made a lot of sense in my dream.

anyway
Jean-Phillipe Rameau was a 18th century music theorist who
can suck it

I'm imagining this conflict between the two machines in my house creating the most obvious white noise at the moment, which are the heater and the fridge. They both turn on and off as frequently as necessary, but I can see the fridge being like "man you are just making my job harder," and the heater being like, "I dunno man, all I know is it's too damn cold in here."
*click* ... *whirrrrrr* (heater)
......*click* ....... *whirrrrrrrr* (fridge)

d'Alembert is one articulate badass:
"The supreme Intelligence has drawn a veil before our feeble vision which we try in vain to remove. It is a sad lot for our curiosity and our pride, but it is the lot of humanity. We should conclude therefrom at any rate that the systems, or rather, the dreams of the philosophers on most metaphysical questions deserve no place in a work exclusively intended to contain the real knowledge acquired by the human mind."
