I was debating whether or not to do this, because I liked having a place to post fic without readers potentially getting bogged down by old fandom biases, and it was nice to be able to have fic judged solely on its merits as fic, and not seen through a lens of whatever I'd written before or outright avoided because of my previous work or me in

Earlier today, I was rereading Dear Catastrophe Waiter. I never knew the name of the author of it, so when I found out I read it again just to see if I could pick out parts that, writing-wise, should have been obvious to me while I was reading. I clicked on the journal name to see if I had missed anything posted there recently, because I had so far really loved everything by cloviswest! Nothing was posted that I hadn't read, and for some reason, I had this thought that whoever this person was, they were definitely already in the fandom and was someone I knew of. Whether they were new or older in the fandom was beyond me, but I just got that feeling.
I think it was just because the journal was kind of mysterious? I guess, with me not knowing you, it popped up out of nowhere, was kind of a random new writer to the fandom who happened to like a lot of things I did and gave me a really nostalgic feeling.
So reading this entry now, I am not even in the least surprised, but I will admit to pointing at my screen and saying "aHA! I knew it!" and then possibly making victory arms, although you totally can't prove that one.
Aaand I still approve of bottom!Ryan just as much as top!Ryan... and also cockslut!Anyone, really, for lack of a better term. Just for the record :)

That's really flattering that you liked it enough to reread it and then to go in for more analysis. How totally cool and gratifying.
I definitely could have stealthed that one better, it did ring of sock puppetry for sure. But at least it took awhile for anyone to catch on, and my popping up right before the exchange probably helped. Oh well.
Yay for Ryans of all stripes! \o/
