o god, i could be bounded in a nut shell and count myself a king of infinite space, were it not that i have bad dreams.
a growing list, as yet without order:
alpha rats nest, mountain goats
thinking of a dream i had, walkmen
in a radio song, okkervil river
your little hoodrat friend, hold steady
that scary randy newman song, randy newman
temptation, new order (that scene in trainspotting when the girl sings it while our boy is locked in his room sleeping)
idylls of the king, mountain goats
anthems for a seventeen year-old girl, broken social scene
emma pearl, john vanderslice
these are a few of my favorite things, dan reeder
the first thing should probably clementine, the decemberists.
the last thing could be the state i am in, belle & sebastian. i am unsure if this can close it, and it's just that one line, but come on.
it'll be tough to choose just one dylan number, but it can be done.
i'm too good at this game.
seriously though, hows about i be innocent when i dream again? totally awesome as it is, i always worry a little when i relate to our boy, the prince.
