i'm a busy guy
wow
so i'm busy. I work a lot. perhaps too much, but i like the work and i like the money. At first when going freelance I was worried about making ends meet, but no more. I mean I've made significantly more money and a lot of good contacts.
I just started a one month contract with a corporate events company that i think will go very well. I started the day as a PA, then became the graphics guy and by the end of the day I was editing. So we shall see what happens in the near future with these guys and it could lead to a lot of other work in the future. I'm pretty psyched about the way my career is going these days. Now if only I could find time for much of a personal life. I am working on it though. I have been going on a fair amount of dates recently. For some reason I seem to be dating a fair amount but it doesn't seem to go much of anywhere. But who knows?
Christmas time will be rushed as usual. I still have to go shopping and I have to figure out what to get for people, but I'm usually pretty good at figuring that out.
I'll likely quit the video store this week. I just don't have any free time anymore and i'll be taking so much time off for the holidays that it just isn't fair to them. Plus I'd really like to have my weekends back. And the money I make there is pretty insignificant compared to any day of my regular job. I'd have to work more than three days at the video store to equal on day of PAing.
So thats the skinny on me lately.
