YouTube - Full Screen Trick

Why didn't anyone tell me about this?!?!

Like a few others out there I work with dual monitors. That's right...while one monitor might be enough for you, I need two! The main monitor is here on my laptop and over to the left is a second 22" widescreen monitor. I use the second one for additional room for chat programs, word processing stuff, second browser windows, etc. It just makes like a lot easier.

One problem though has been watching YouTube on the second monitor. I love to watch fullscreen when the quality is good enough, but as soon as I start typing on the main screen YouTube drops back down to its default size. That really stinks.

Until now!!!

I finally stumbled over the answer and had to share it somewhere...so you get it here.

Let's say for example the YouTube video you want to watch is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9ssppBt260 (what a great video, by the way!). To watch it in fullsize mode you simply replace the "watch?v=" section of the url with "v/" so your url looks like this: http://www.youtube.com/v/C9ssppBt260

What you end up with isa stretchable YouTube video player that you can resize to fit your screen and keep on working on whatever else you've got going on at the same time! How cool is that?!?!

Thank me later.
