Previously…

I didn't know they had curfews for military men. I guess it sounds like it makes sense, but that surprises me.

Yeah, there are curfews. And I've violated them in the past...without getting caught. They're silly, but needed. Some people just don't know how to act.

Nothing too serious, depending on the chain-of-command's sense of depravity or sadism. A little yelling at the least, and a reprimand at the most (resulting in loss of rank in some cases and loss of pay along with extra duty; a triple whammy of doom). Then again, it can get serious. Some commands are just plain evil, and some are okay. The only reason I broke the rules was because I felt that I could conduct myself like an adult when I went out. Problem is, there are too many of the "Animal House" fratboys, bar brawling rednecks, and just wannabe billy badasses who always make the military look bad. I could go into a cultural diatribe, but I'm still hung over. It's my brother's fault.

I miss you...hope things are going good...
